We offer two options for drawer box thickness: 1/2" and 5/8". Additionally, we have matching bottoms available in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" thicknesses to ensure a perfect fit.
When it comes to drawer box construction, we have two techniques to choose from: dovetail and bore-dowel joinery.
Let's talk about the beauty of dovetail joinery!
In our Half-Blind style, the dovetails are carefully crafted to partially cut through the wood, creating a strong lock between the front and back of the drawer box. The best part is, these dovetails are only visible from the sides of the drawer box, keeping the front and back clean and seamless.
Our dovetails are spaced on 1" increments, ensuring a precise and aesthetically pleasing design. With clean cuts and no tear-outs, you can expect a flawless finish. Plus, the tight fit of the dovetails guarantees a sturdy and durable drawer box.

DRAWER BOXES NOTCH
Two standard under mount slide notching widths are offered for the bottom rear of the drawer box, along with a slides hole.
- 2” wide notch for back of box.
- 3-3/4” wide notch for back of box.
- 5″ wide notch for back of box.
- Slides hole for back of box.
